Track your time

Time a record with a stopwatch or pomodoro, log entries, and read the timesheet.

Add a time-tracking field to a database and every record gets a timer. Track a task as you work on it, log time after the fact, and see the totals roll up — all inside the record, not a separate app.

Start a timer

  1. Open the field on a record

On any record with a time-tracking field, open the timer options and choose a Mode: Stopwatch counts up, Pomodoro counts down a fixed focus session (1–480 minutes).

  2. Set it up (optional)

Pick a sound to play when a pomodoro ends — Soft chime, Digital ping, Focus bell, or your own custom audio for this device — and add a short Summary of what you’re working on.

  3. Start

Start the stopwatch or focus session. A running timer shows up as a pill at the top of the app, wherever you are in the workspace.

The active timer pill

While a timer runs, the pill follows you across the whole app:

  • It names what you’re tracking and shows the elapsed time — or the remaining time for a pomodoro.
  • Pause and resume without losing the entry, stop to save it, or abandon it to throw it away.
  • Click the pill to jump straight back to the record you’re timing.

Only one timer runs at a time, so the pill is always about the one thing you’re on right now.

Logging time by hand

Not every entry comes from a live timer. Open a record’s history and choose Log time to add an entry manually — pick who, when, and how long. Existing entries can be corrected or deleted from the same list, so a mistimed session is easy to fix.

Reading the totals

The field cell shows the record’s total tracked time at a glance, and its history lists recent entries with who logged them and how long each ran. Point a chart or metric at the field to roll time up across a whole database — hours per person, per project, per week.
