Canvas AI and templates

Let AI draw and arrange a scene, and start from templates or stickers.

A blank canvas is the slowest way to start one. Snoze gives you two shortcuts: an AI panel that builds and rearranges the scene for you, and a shelf of ready templates and stickers to drop in.

The canvas AI panel

Open the AI panel on a canvas and a small card appears near your selection. Type what you want — “draw a flowchart of our onboarding”, “arrange these into a grid” — and Snoze’s assistant builds it directly on the board. Elements stream in live as it works.

The panel offers a few one-tap starters:

  • Draw a flowchart of… — seeds the prompt for you to finish.
  • Arrange the selection into a grid — evenly spaces whatever you’ve selected.
  • Summarize the selection into a sticky note — condenses selected shapes into one note.
  • Brainstorm related ideas as a mind map — branches new ideas off your selection.

The panel doesn’t edit the board itself — it drives the same assistant that works everywhere else, using its canvas tools. That means the same rules apply: it acts with your permissions, and a higher-stakes step like deleting shapes pauses for approval. When something needs a decision, Open in AI chat to continue there; when you want to keep going on the board, Ask follow-up.

Templates and stickers

The asset shelf is a library you can pull finished pieces from.

  1. Open the shelf

Open the templates shelf from the canvas. It has two tabs — Templates and Stickers — with categories across the top and a search box.

  2. Find something

Browse a category or search by name. Templates are pre-built layouts (flows, boards, mind maps); stickers are small graphics for decorating a board.

  3. Drop it in

Click an item to insert it, or drag it straight onto the canvas where you want it. It lands as normal editable elements — reshape, restyle, and connect them like anything you drew by hand.
