Organize your sidebar
Nesting, reordering, and keeping a growing workspace tidy.
The sidebar is your workspace’s table of contents. Everything you make — pages, databases, dashboards, canvases, forms — lives in one tree that you shape however you like.
Nest anything under anything
Drag any item onto another to nest it. A project page can hold its task database, its dashboard, and its meeting notes; a team section can hold projects. There’s no separate “folder” concept — any item can contain others, so structure grows out of the work itself.
Reorder and regroup
Drag items up and down to reorder them. When a section gets crowded, make a new page to act as a home for it and drag related items inside. Collapsing a parent hides the whole subtree until you need it.
Let search do the remembering
Structure is for browsing; for everything else there’s search. Press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows) to jump to any item by name, no matter where it lives in the tree.
What teammates see
The tree is shared: everyone in the workspace sees the same structure for shared items. Items only you can access appear only for you. If something seems missing for a teammate, check its sharing settings — Permissions explained covers how visibility works.
